Once again the trend of mixing patterns has been brought to my attention.
Thankfully mixing patterns has become an art in fashion and it’s taking over the runways.
It can be tricky to pair pieces with different prints without looking like you dressed up in the dark.
Here are some tips to translate this trend into something you can wear everyday.
Mix big prints with small prints. To look chic without looking overdone wear a large dramatic print with a smaller, more subdued print.
Keep colors similar, when pairing two prints or patterns, make sure the dominant color is repeated at the top or at the bottom.
Play up a print with accessories. If you don’t feel bold enough to wear two different patterns in your clothing, do it with accessories.
For example, wear a printed skirt and pair it up with a simple printed scarf or shoes. You can also choose to work with jewellery which incorporates prints.

But most of all.. Experiment, by experimenting you often find the best unexpected combinations.
